ABOUT US
FUNDACIÓN AUGE was created by a group of Mendocinians who are committed to universal culture in order to conceive a creative arena. To develop cultural activities and to strengthen the commitment for the betterment of our society is the basis of our project. In May 1997, FUNDACIÓN AUGE acquired legal status and its activities in its own building. Its main goal is to achieve excellence in every one of its projects. Among its permanent commitment the following stand out:
To grant scholarships to students, graduates, postgraduates and teachers.
To act as the link between local, national and overseas universities, especially from those in Israel.
To organize national and international academic meetings in Mendoza, Argentina and abroad in order to foster debate and integration of different cultural, social and scientific ideas.
To integrate Jewish and Non Jewish cultures in order to favour the growth of a harmonic and developed society within a framework of mutual respect and understanding.
FUNDACIÓN AUGE as an institution open to different ideas and to the defence of freedom and democracy. It also views itself as a dynamic organization prone to adaptation and committed to offer opportunities for culture and knowledge promotion and upgrading.

To be a leading organization for the enhancement of Culture of Peace, mutual respect, and for the promotion of Cultural Diversity and Human Rights.
OUR GOALS
To create a permanent centre for bibliographical research and information, as well as for training and advise on universal culture and sciences. To promote and foster Scientific and Academic activities of universities from Israel as well as from other overseas universities by acting as a link among students, professors, businessmen and whoever may apply for it - both in public or private spheres. To offer the community cultural, academic and scientific activities. To foster educational, pedagogical and scientific projects. To defend and enhance universal ethical values against discrimination and xenophobia.
